Rug Cutters is a Jazz Band based in New Orleans, LA. Their Style goes from traditional Jazz to Blues and Swing with a repertoire that goes from early 1900 thru de 20s,30s & 40s.
The Band is heavily influenced by early Jazz Bands such as Louis Armstrong & his hot five and hot seven, Kid Ory & his creole Jazz Band, Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver and Duke Ellington among others.
In 2018 the Band started busking in the streets of New Orleans and in the present they perform regularly in music clubs, swing dance events and private/corporate events.
